The 5-star Hemingways Watamu Hotel, located in Watamu Beach, considered one of the worlds most beautiful, offers Wi-Fi throughout the property, a swimming pool and a fitness studio. Bio-Ken Snake Farm is about a 10-minute ride from this Watamu resort, which is located on the beachfront.

The property has a beachfront setting about a 10-minute ride from Mida Creek. The hotel is within a 10-minute drive of Local Ocean Conservation in Watamu. The accommodation is also relatively near Marine National Park.

For those travelling from afar, Malindi airport is 30 minutes' drive away.

    Food could use some creativity as it was standard fare. Our stay was during a busy weekend, and although some areas felt a bit overwhelmed, the attentive service made up for the shortcomings. We enjoyed our time relaxing by the pool.

    in overall, the place is small luxury, has very professional staff especially the manager who organized everything very well for our group. the room is well-equipped and beautifully decorated with super comfy beds and all expected amenities. the location is perfect and spectacular, near to hemingways in nairobi for a conference and watamu - couldn't be better.

    The location of Hemingways in Watamu takes your breath away. My room had a fine sea view, made mornings so bright. There's a nice touch with the room's amenities like the minibar stocked daily, fresh milk for coffee, and a kettle for tea. The bed was comfortable, and the decor felt inviting. I encountered a hiccup with the food options . Due to low season, it seemed less varied than I'd hoped. I had to rely on the beans and potatoes for breakfast as the offerings lacked creativity. One evening, I faced double charging from my bill, which took a couple of weeks to sort out. The pools, while beautifully maintained, were a bit warm for my liking and could use at least one freshwater option for variety. It was also disappointing to find the TV didn't have popular streaming services available, limiting my options for in-room entertainment. Despite these inconveniences, I did appreciate the clean environment and several friendly staff members. The views are among the best this hotel a nice place, even with its flaws.

    great sea view but breakfast options need improvement

    The room provided an amazing sea view that complemented our stay beautifully. The location allowed easy access to the beach, an added bonus. The daily restocking of the minibar was a thoughtful touch.

    The breakfast options felt limited and could benefit from more variety each morning.
